Dear Sea Wolf Adventurers,
We sincerely hope you continue to experience health and wellness at this time. These are truly uncharted waters for the whole Sea Wolf crew. COVID-19 has changed the world and forced us all to narrow our focus down to what matters most. We all continue to adjust to our new state of existing in this era of social distancing while we stay-at-home to do our part to flatten the curve. Kimber runs the show by phone and computer from her living room these days, glad to have the company of her newly- adopted pup named Jupiter, whose energy is pure joy. Emily manages the office mostly from home to be able to help her children adjust to their new modes of distance learning, while taking little trips to the lonely Sea Wolf office for necessities now and then. The crew are hunkering down in all corners of the world and meet by zoom to see each other’s faces and to discuss the new procedures and protocols we aim to implement in our future operations.
While navigating the daily challenges of this new reality we are all trying to make decisions on our future, despite the unknowns. We remain very hopeful for operating this season while at the same time, we are preparing for all possible outcomes. The health and well being of our crew, our guests and community remain our top priority. We are constantly reviewing the information coming out daily by the WHO and CDC and reading the most current research being done by some of the brightest minds.
To ease the burden of stress we know our guests face in these uncertain times, last month we set in place a temporary policy as follows: Beginning 45 days prior to current departure
- The ability to transfer to a later open 2020 adventure sailing or 2021 adventure sailing, of the same itinerary, with no penalty. All payments made are retained and transfer to the new booking.
- All future deposits (or remaining balance payments) related to 2020 transfers, or current bookings that were booked prior to March 20, 2020, will not become due until 30 days prior to departure.
- The ability to cancel and receive full refund, minus the booking deposit of $1000.00 per person.
- Once we begin to operate, Sea Wolf Adventures will revert back to normal policies. Deposits for 2020 will be due 30 days prior to adventure departure.
These decisions are not made lightly and there is no precedent to this situation. We hope this relaxed policy extends to you a peace of mind that will safeguard your wilderness adventure dreams and finances while also easing the concerns we have for the health of our future business, because we live for what we do!
We encourage you to focus on health, family and community. Turn to the healing power of nature by safely getting outside, staying active and noticing the new life spring brings with it. We look forward to making Alaskan memories of bucket-list proportions with you in the future. Don’t hesitate to reach out with your questions.
Warm Regards,
Kimber and the Sea Wolf crew
