Boo is on board most of the season but can stay on land if there is an allergy issue with a guest. She loves to kayak and when home in Gustavus- romp on the beach playing with her fellow Alaskan Buddies.
Captain 200 Ton Master, Biologist and Naturalist

Steve grew up playing in the sand dunes of San Francisco's Sunset district, exploring Golden Gate Park, fishing at Lake Merced, and looking west to the Farallon Islands. After completing his Master's degree in Zoology at UC Santa Barbara, he spent the next 10 years studying seabirds and marine mammals on those same Farallon Islands as well as on St. Matthew Island, Alaska and Ross Island, Antarctica. Enroute to New Zealand to live, Steve was sidetracked by an offer to work on a fishing boat in Southeast Alaska for a summer. Captivated by the wilderness he experienced that first summer, Steve moved instead to Alaska. After 18 summers of salmon fishing (mostly in Southeast) interspersed with occasional work as a biologist, Steve realized that his favorite parts of his "fishing experience" were not fishing but rather exploring the waters and forests of Southeast and watching the wildlife and fish therein. In discussing his passion for the wilderness of Southeast Alaska and his desire to spend more time exploring it by boat, friends in the fishing industry steered him to small boat passenger charters. Says Steve, "I enjoy sharing the beauty and the powerful wildness of Southeast with our guests, and I love just WATCHING salmon. Every trip is a new adventure."Steve now lives in Mt. Shasta, California with his sweetheart, Judy, and their cat. He migrates north for the summer

A native of New York State’s Hudson Valley area, Linda moved to Northern California in her early twenties. It was there, in the San Francisco Bay Area, her interest for creating great tasting foods was ignited. Since that time, she has owned two restaurant/catering services and presently operates a ‘Personal Chef’ business, in Northern Colorado. Linda’s passion for creating healthy, eclectic, palate pleasing meals, has given her the opportunity to cook for private and public clients in settings ranging from the ‘remote wilderness’ to the ‘fine dining’, experience. Linda is starting her 3rd year with the Sea Wolf :).

Marilyn was born in England and then moved to the United States. She worked as a Paramedic for 15 years before becoming an emergency medical instructor. Over the years she has traveled extensively, enjoying the natural world and illustrating much of the wildlife she has seen. Recently she started her own art business “Wild Inkwell” www.wildinkwell.com. This year she created a children’s naturalist program in central New York called “The Art of Nature”, the program is designed to introduce children to nature by teaching them how to create a Naturalist journal. This will be Marilyn’s third year working on the Sea Wolf. Marilyn currently lives with her husband in Rome NY.

Born and raised in Texas, Anna started her freshman year of college in 2009 at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. A few of her interests and hobbies are international affairs, environmental studies, playing the clarinet, reading, biking, walking, traveling, cooking, and watching movies. At the University of Puget Sound she participates in the University Wind Ensemble and the Honors Program. Anna’s future plans include traveling the world and finding time to read all the books on her shelves. Paraphrasing Anna "I can't wait to start working with you! Thanks again for giving me this incredible opportunity." We look forward to working with Anna this year as part of Sea Wolf Adventures college intern program.
