Hello World, We are live with our first blog. I hope all of Sea Wolf Adventures past and current clients participate in this blog. It is a fun way to connect, reconnect, share experiences and ask questions. I am on my way to Port Townsend with the Sea Wolf, Captain Mike at the wheel and KW at the engineer post. Once there we will haul out using the 300 ton travel lift and start our annual R&M and improvement process. And I hear tomorrow night in PT Fred Sharpe an amazing whale biologist will be presenting so i will be there gathering new info.
About Kimber
Hi, I am the owner/operator of Sea Wolf Adventures. I live in Gustavus, AK which is at the entrance to Glacier Bay National Park. Summers are filled with adventuring with our clients on the Sea Wolf. I am a licensed 200 ton master, Certified Alaska naturalist and conservationist. We run as green an operation as possible and support our local business's. Nature, community and sustainability are very important to me both personally and as a business owner. The rest of my year I manage the business and explore the wonderful world we live in. Trekking from Alaska to Russia to the Antarctica and right here in Glacier Bay.
BOO "THE BOAT DOG". Boo is a Portuguese Water Dog/Lab Cross: very friendly somewhat hypo-allergenic as she has hair akin to human hair. Boo is on board most of the season but can stay on land if there is an allergy issue with a guest. She loves to kayak and when home in Gustavus- romp on the beach playing with her fellow Alaskan Buddies.
Wow Kimber, this blog is great (kudos to Clyde for his creation). You are definitely alive and thriving in this age of technology which has enabled you to bring this fantastic journey and adventure of the Sea Wolf to us all. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Linda, Thanks. I would love for you to share your thoughts of your adventure under voyages. I know you got fabulous pictures and you can share them under our guest photo gallery as well. Pssss..we are going to have a photo contest for our 2011 calendar. Kimber
Congrats on the new blog !! Happy posting and hello from Texas.
Kimber,So glad to be able see all about Sea Wolf & a couple of pics of my son. It was hard for me to visualize just what he was doing. I know he is happy to be on board, told me he was eating good as u r a good cook & is looking forward to Alaska, which I find strange as he doesn’t really like cold weather. Looking forward to your blogs & wish you all good weather at all times as well as lots of travelers.
