Exploring Alaska's Inside Passage

10 Days/9 Nights

We will explore by cruising, kayaking and hiking both arms and the outer coast of Glacier Bay National Park and down Chichagof and Admiraly Islands on our way to Juneau. We will cruise the glacially scoured shores of the coastal Rainforests of Southeast Alaska. Soaring Mountains capture precipitation creating the lush and mysterious coastal Rainforest. A forest rich with nutrients feeding both the land and sea. We may see Brown bears, Black bears Sitka Black Tailed Deer, Wolves and Moose. Soaring above us majestic Bald Eagles and everywhere migrating birds traveling north to their breeding grounds. Our journeys waters teem with marine life: Humpback, Minke and Finn whales , Orca, Dolphins, Porpoises, Sea lions, Seals and Sea Otters. And that is what we see above the water- the pelagic waters are home to a multitude of creatures some of which we can only see at a low tide.
