Meet Jordan Stapley Sea Wolf Engineer!

Jordan Stapley has a passion for the sea and for caring for vessel engines. She came to Alaska with a degree in archelogy and fell in love with the maritime industry as she was transported by vessel from site to site.   She has worked as a deck hand, fisherwoman and engineer from Ketchikan to Atka to Kodiak to Seaward. She fell in love with tinkering on engines during her deck hand days.

She is a woman of all boating trades. She has spent summers working on research vessels, marine debris clean up projects, fishing, crabbing and even harvesting brine shrimping the Great Salt Lake!  We are grateful to have this skillful, enthusiastic woman engineer as a Sea Wolf crew member for 2 years now and hopefully many more! Currently, Jordan is on schedule to work 2025 adventures departing 5/25 – 6/29 and then again 8/17 – end of the season.

Jordan’s office is the engine room where her desk is the original 1941 Hamilton Diesel Engine
